Shamanism has been practiced for thousands of years, as a way for peoples and cultures to connect to the Divine, to their living world and to their true life path. Shamanic practitioners work with compassionate helping spirits and allies of the upper, middle and lower worlds, to divine information and to heal.

Core Shamanism was established by Michael Harner in the 1980s. It is a synthesized system of  universal or near-universal shamanic rituals and ceremonies from indigenous peoples around the world. It was created to fit into Western Culture and does not subscribe to one, specific indigenous group's methodologies.

If you are wanting a more purposeful life full of joy, authenticity and peace, shamanism can help you. By working to remove spiritual, emotional and relational energies  that do not serve you, a shaman creates space for you to grow your own personal power and your true life's desires, by connecting you to the infinite source from the Divine.

Reiki is an energy technique, that hails from Asia, that was forgotten and was re-introduced in the 20th century by Dr. Mikao Usui. Like shamanism, the goal of reiki, is to heal a person by aligning one's mind body and spirit.  To do this, the reiki practitioner will deliver healing energy (ki), into a person's energy field (rei). In western culture 'ki,' can be described as divine or universal energy. And 'rei' as a person's aura.
